The Good, The Bad & The Ugly for 2014 MLB Week 5:

The Good: Nolan Arenado, Colorado Rockies- Rockies 3rd Baseman Nolan Arenado has a 24 game hitting streak, 2nd longest hitting streak in the Rockies history behind Michael Cuddyer’s 27 Game Hit Streak last season. Arenado has 41 hits in 33 games & the Rockies have one of the best offenses in baseball so far & top offense for the last 7 days.

The Bad: Atlanta Braves Hitting over the last 7 days- The Braves in the last 7 days have scored only 11 runs, 3 HR’s, 11 RBI & have a .186 Batting Average. Just Bad.

The Ugly: Kansas City Royals Pitching over the last 7 days- The Royals for most of the young 2014 season have had good soild pitching, but over the last 7 days not so much. In 7 Games, the Royals are 3-4 with a 6.29 ERA, 1 save, 44 earned runs & the hitting average was .296. Just Ugly.
