After a big Saturday of College Football in Week ten, it’s time for another edition of our major bowl game projections, mainly for the six College Football Playoff Games. These are our Projections for Week 12:
Peach Bowl: Nebraska vs. Ole Miss
I feel that Nebraska is the club leader to face Ohio State in the Big Ten title game & mainly if Ole Miss wins out, both have to be in a big Bowl Game.
Fiesta Bowl: Marshall vs. Arizona State
The way Arizona State is playing, they could move up in the Top four if they win out, also a group of five that is ranked the highest has to be in a Playoff Bowl Game, so for the second week this is our Fiesta Bowl match.
Orange Bowl: TCU vs. Auburn
With Florida State being in the Playoff rankings, the Orange Bowl losses the ACC Champion, so in there place would be Big XII Champion at this time would be TCU & the SEC would fill the other slot with Auburn.
Cotton Bowl: Baylor vs. Ohio State
I see Baylor representing the Big XII with the now Big Ten Champion Ohio State facing off in the Cotton Bowl, the Big Ten Champion would normally be at the Rose Bowl, but since the Rose Bowl is a Playoff game, this would be the best place to go.
College Football Playoff Semifinals
Rose Bowl: 2 Florida State vs. 3 Alabama
The Rose Bowl will be the place to me where the second & third seed would go, with Florida State vs. Alabama, match up of the last two National Champions.
Sugar Bowl: 1 Mississippi State vs. 4 Oregon
The Top Seed unless they are from the West Coast want to stay in the Big Easy, the Bulldogs would have the challenge of try to stop the Ducks offense.
These projections will change by the week, come back next week for our playoff rankings & projections on BKD TV.
