Another Season of College Basketball is here.

AAC

Last Season Regular Season Champion: Louisville & Cincinnati
Last Season Tournament Champion: Louisville

The Connecticut Huskies had another run to the National Championship & the champion in the AAC(Louisville) has moved to the ACC, the Huskies return Senior Forward DeAndre Daniels & Senior Guard Ryan Boatright, the Huskies are the clear favorite in the AAC, but SMU & Memphis will be in the hunt. Tulsa, East Carolina & Tulane has joined the AAC from Conference USA and Louisville(ACC) & Rutgers(Big Ten) has moved out.

Projected Regular Season Champion: Connecticut

Atlantic 10

Last Season Regular Season Champion: St. Joseph’s
Last Season Tournament Champion: St. Joseph’s

The Atlantic 10 is the most underrated conference in all of College Basketball & once again it will be. The VCU Rams are looking to win the A-10 with Senior Guards Treveon Graham & Briante Weber leading the charge for Head Coach Shaka Smart, making VCU a top power in CBB, but Dayton, George Washington & UMass will be in the hunt for the Conference Title & NCAA Tourny bids. Davidson has moved to the A-10 form the Southern Conference which they won last season

Projected Regular Season Champion: VCU

ACC

Last Season Regular Season Champion: Virginia
Last Season Tournament Champion: Virginia

The ACC has gotten most of the Old Big East & once again the ACC is the best College Basketball in the land & now Louisville comes over to replace the Maryland Terripins going on to the Big Ten, but Virginia won the ACC Regular Season & Tournament over Duke, NC, Syracuse, Pittsburgh, etc, but this season will be as tough as ever in the Atlantic Coast Conference. The Player to watch is Freshman Jahill Okafor at Duke, North Carolina has good talent, but a cloud of violations in the classroom for years could hurt the Tar Heels, with Louisville coming in could ask alot for them to win the ACC. I think it will come down to the final Duke vs. NC game.

Projected Regular Season Champion: Duke

Big East

Last Season Regular Season Champion: Villanova
Last Season Tournament Champion: Providence

In the rebranded Big East, Villanova had only 2 conference losses, but this season, the Big East should be more teams in the mix, but I think Villanova will still win the Regular Season, but a G-Town & Xavier should win the Big East Tournament in Madison Square Garden. It should be better basketball in the 2nd Season of the Big East.

Projected Regular Season Champion: Villanova

Big Ten

Last Season Regular Season Champion: Michigan
Last Season Tournament Champion: Michigan State

The Big Ten will be as tough as ever with Wisconsin being picked mostly to win the Big Ten, but Michigan State is always there, with Michigan & Ohio State in the Race for the Big Ten title, Maryland & Rutgers come in the Big Ten with the Terps could be a NCAA Tourny team & Rutgers not close yet. I see Michigan State edging Wisconsin for the Regular Season Title.

Projected Regular Season Champion: Michigan State

Big XII

Last Season Regular Season Champion: Kansas
Last Season Tournament Champion: Iowa State

Kansas has ruled the Big XII has of late, but it seem like Iowa State & Texas has closed the gap, the Jayhawks will have a younger team & the Cyclones look like the team with the experience to win a regular season title. Kansas State, West Virginia & Oklahoma could be dark horses to win the Big XII.

Projected Regular Season Champion: Iowa State

Pac-12

Last Season Regular Season Champion: Arizona
Last Season Tournament Champion: UCLA

To me the Pac-12 looks like a 2 team race with Arizona & UCLA fighting for the Pac-12 title. The Colorado Buffalos look like a wild card to win the Pac-12, but they have to get wins from the Wildcats or Bruins to reach & stay at the top of the Pac-12.

Projected Regular Season Champion: Arizona

SEC

Last Season Regular Season Champion: Florida
Last Season Tournament Champion: Florida

The Kentucky Wildcats are loaded again with the one & done talent, which a season ago grew up quick & was one game away from winning the National Championship. The Florida Gators as always in the way of a SEC Title also, Arkansas & LSU is trying to get back in the SEC picture, but the Wildcats & Gators are once again the 2 teams to beat in the SEC.

Projected Regular Season Champion: Kentucky

So this College Basketball Season will be fun to watch from the beginning to the Madness of March, so lets hit the Road to Indy & the Final Four.

The Road to the Final Four ends in Indianapolis.
