Manny Pacquiao punches Chris Algieri, knocking him down 6 times during the fight last night.

Manny Pacquiao showed he still had some punching punching power in a dominating fashion over Chris Algieri on Saturday Night PPV in China, the other undercard fights was one sided except Vargas vs. Demarco, which had action in it every round, lets recap each fight below

(c) Jessie Vargas(26-0, 9 KOs) def Antonio DeMarco(31-4-1, 23 KOs), 12 rounds for the WBA Light Welterweight Title in a unanimous decision

Vargas hugs his trainer former World Champion Boxer Roy Jones Jr. after his win over Antonio DeMarco

This was the best fight of the night by far that had both fighters fighting hard, but the difference was Vargas ability to connect on his power punches better than DeMarco did, there exchanges was great between the 3rd thru 8th Rounds.

Total Punches

Vargas 263/654 40%

DeMarco 179/491 36%

(c) Vasyl Lomachenko(3-1, 1 KO) def Chonlatarn Piriyapinyo(52-2, 33 KO), 12 rounds for the WBO Featherweight Title in a unanimous decision

Lomachenko sizing up Piriyapinyo for a punch in their fight last night

This was a one sided fight, the bad part was Lomachenko injuried his right hand in the 7th round & still dominated this fight, Priryapinyo had more fights, but clearly the former Olympic Lomachenko showed true metal last night, Lomachenko knocks down Piriyapingo in the 4th round & never let up.

Total Punches

Lomachenko 368/1006 32%

Piriyapingo 86/471 18%

Zou Shiming(6-0, 1 KO) def Kwanpichit Onesongchaigym(27-1-2, 12 KO), 12 rounds in a WBO Flyweight Fight eliminator in a unanimous decision

Shiming punches Onesongchaigym in route to a UD Win for Shiming

Another dominating performance by Shiming, as the only reason why Shiming left eye is swollen in because Onesongchaigym give him a head butt & 2 low bow that -3 points from already a lopsided score, Shiming controlled this fight from start to finish.

Total Punches

Shiming 340/816 42%

Onesongchaigym 119/534 22%

(c) Manny Pacquiao(57-5-2 with 38 KOs) def Chris Algieri(20-1 with 8 KO’s), 12 rounds, for the WBO welterweight title in a unanimous decision

The Plan for Chris Algieri & his camp mainly from Trainer Tim Lane proved to be more terrible as the night went on, quotes from Lane during the rounds ending from dailymail.co.uk website

End of round three, after first knock downs: ‘You’re doing beautiful man. Keep it up.’

End of round seven, following another knock-down: ‘This is where we want to be.’

During round nine, seconds before the heaviest knock down: ‘Chris is going to put him to sleep in a few minutes.’

End of round nine: ‘We are exactly where we need to be.’ (Presumably flat on his back.)

End of round 10: ‘Chris, I’m letting you out of the cage.’

End of round 11, at 17 points behind with one round to go: ‘Hit him in the body and stay on his a**. This is The Chris Algieri Show.’

The worse was Lane being interviewed by HBO’s Max Kellerman & told Kellerman in the 9th round that Algieri is going to knock Pacquiao out in the 10th round & right he said that Pacquiao knocked down Algieri for the heaviest knock down in the fight. Clearly Algieri & his camp got overwhelmed by the moment & just got beat by a great fighter in Pacquiao.

 Total Punches

Pacquiao 229/669 34%

Algieri 108/469 23%
