The Seattle Seahawks made one of the most questionable play calls in NFL history by not handing the ball to Marshawn Lynch on the goaline in last years epic Super Bowl match-up. This does not change the fact that they still have on of the better teams in the NFL with that Legion of Boom defense and a good young quarterback in Russel Wilson and Marshawn “Beast Mode” Lynch. The NFC West is the toughest division in football and they will by no means have an easy path to repeating as NFC West champions.
While We Were Away:
Seattle traded for one of the best players in football in Jimmy Graham and let us not forget still have leadership on both sides of the ball and that bully mentality that helps them win week in and week out. This team lost some pieces on defense but was able to supplement those losses with solid signings and good draft picks.
2015 Season Outlook:
Many people believe that the Seahawks will be right back in the hunt for another Super Bowl crown and are just as good as years past especially with a legitimate target for their quarterback who is on the verge of getting paid big money. These factors are one reason why they are still the class of the NFC week in and week out.
2015 Record: 11-5
With the best home field advantage in the NFL this team will hold serve at home and ensure their fans drive home happy each week. The unknown of traveling from west to east is always tough and can be the reason these teams come out sluggish and loose to these eastern time zone opponents. This team is in the toughest division the NFC West and will have some grind it out games that will test their team make up, as a team overall they should be able to keep their heads above water.
