Xavier Woods even convinces Stone Cold to dance along with him ...

Xavier Woods of the New Day wants Stone Cold Steve Austin to dance with him @ WrestleMania. Austin not so much, lol.

A record setting crowd of 101,763 watched WrestleMania 32 in Arlington, Texas. Ticket Issues similar too Super Bowl 45, plus earlier some buffering issues with the WWE Network. Below we will break down the event plus the ups & downs. Thanks to WWE.com for photos of both events & Wrestling inc for help in this article.

Pre-Show Matches

WWE UNITED STATES TITLE MATCH

Kalisto (c) def Ryback

Rating: 7 of 10

Analysis– It was good to see Mauro Ranallo & Jerry Lawler calling the pre-show, Jerry Lawler for the 1st time since WrestleMania 17 that he was not on the Main Show. Kalisto & Ryback set the tone for a fast show. Sadly the effort was their but the people wasn’t due to Ticket Issues. This match didn’t even start until 4:45pm local time in Arlington. Ranallo referred to Kalisto upset win over Ryback in the WWE Title Tournament & it help set the tone. Hopefully this is one off in this feud, but knowing the WWE they might drag this out a little longer.

Team Total Divas (Brie Bella, Eva Marie, Paige, Natalya, Alicia Fox) def. Team BAD And Blonde (Emma, Lana, Naomi, Tamina, Summer Rae)

Lana accomplished the one thing no one thought was possible: She got all of the Total Divas to see eye-to-eye.

Rating: 7 of 10

Analysis– Nice to see Brie Bella get a nice sendoff as all 10 Divas got there moves in & for a 10 person match it was pretty good. Better than matches we have seen in the past. Lana in ring debut should have been build a little bigger, but with this being said it was good match & it was good to see Nikki Bella help give her sister the moment. We will also see starting on Tonight’s Raw what direction Team BAD & Blonde will take.

Lita’s Major Announcement

The WWE Hall of Famer unveils the brand-new WWE Women’s Championship, to be bestowed upon the winner of the Triple Threat Match.

Rating: 8 out of 10

Analysis– Good to see the WWE Women’s Title back in the company & this is not the 1st WWE Women’s Championship. I like how the new belt looks similar to the main title for the Men. I would have like Trish Stratus & or Beth Phoenix out there with Lita to make this important announcement. This was originally to be revealed on Raw tonight but I think due to the Ticket Issues they used this to stale for more time.

The Usos def. Dudley Boyz

Jimmy & Jey drive Bubba & D-Von through the tables with splashes in stereo!

Rating: 6.5 of out 10

Analysis– Out the Pre-Show matches, this one really didn’t matter what happen during the match, but at the end as after The Usos won, the Dudley Boyz which vowed to never use tables again was attempting to put the Usos through them, but the Uso’s turned the tables as the crowd was booing that & put the Dudley’s through the table. It wee see here 7 the main event, it was a bad night to be the Usos or Roman Reigns. With that being said, the Usos & Dudleys are far from done beefing with each other.

Main Show Matches & Moments

LADDER MATCH For the WWE INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP

Zack Ryder def. Kevin Owens (c), Sami Zayn , Dolph Ziggler , The Miz , Sin Cara , Stardust

Despite a last-minute push by Miz, Ryder swoops in to thwart The Awesome One and claim the Intercontinental Championship.

Rating: 8 out of 10

Analysis– This Ladder Match really set the tone for the main show, I thought it was great & the guy that did anything for the WWE they ask him to got over in the biggest moment in his career. Outside of die heart Zack Ryder fans, nobody had him winning. Sami Zayn & Kevin Ownes interacted & Stardust had won polka dots plus on his personal ladder to honor his dad Dusty Rhodes. It will be interesting what road will Zack Ryder go after his big win plus also Zayn & Owens ahead also. Starts tonight on Raw.

Chris Jericho def AJ Styles

Jericho attempts the Lionsault, but Styles gets his knees up just in time.

Rating: 7.5 out of 10

Analysis– Once again Jericho & Styles put on a great match & with Jericho getting the win. The false finishes was hot & both got there moves in. I wish they would have wrestled already for a 4th team unless its a best of 5 or 7 match because it has lessen the impact of a dream match. I do see 2 face off one more time with Jericho stay around after Mania.

League of Nations def. New Day

It's a New Day, yes it is ... coming out of a 20-foot box of Booty-O's!

Rating: 7 out of 10

Analysis– Our Super Saiyan New Day which there opening was over the top enteraining, but the match was ok but the New Day clearing has stepped the League of Nations game, even with Sheamus doing his Beats of the Bodhrán move, he was saying New Day Sucks, lolAfter the win however The League of Nations King Barrett said says there’s no three-man team in history that can mess with them. Shawn Michaels’ music hits and out comes the WWE Hall of Famer to a big pop. HBK has his wrists taped up and he’s in gear. The music hits and out comes WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley as Cactus Jack. The glass breaks next and out comes WWE Hall of Famer Steve Austin in jeans, sneakers and a Dallas 3:16 t-shirt.

Shawn Michaels, Mick Foley & Steve Austin confronts the League of Nations

Mick Foley, Shawn Michaels and "Stone Cold" Steve Austin come out to refute the lads' claim, to the delight of more than 101,000 fans in AT&T Stadium.

Rating: 8.5 out of 10

Analysis– What a moment mainly for the 2 Texan stars Shawn Michaels & Steve Austin. The New Day pulls Barrett to the floor. HBK mounts Del Rio in the corner. Foley unloads on Sheamus in the other corner. Austin and Rusev go at it. Rusev turns it around but Austin stomps a mudhole in him. Foley hits Sheamus with Mr. Socko. Michaels drops Del Rio with Sweet Chin Music. Austin gives Rusev middle fingers in the middle of the ring and nails a Stunner. The Legends want Barrett thrown in. He’s thrown in by The New Day to take a Sweet Chin Music, a Socko and then a Stunner. Austin’s music hits and they start celebrating after tossing Barrett to the floor. Austin calls for beers as The New Day’s music hits. They come in the ring and start dancing but the Legends aren’t sure at first. Foley and HBK warm up some and start dancing with the WWE Tag Team Champions. Austin looks like he’s about to start dancing but he hits Woods with a Stunner instead. Austin calls for beers and has a few with Cactus and HBK as his music hits. Austin gives himself a beer bath and calls for more. Foley gives a beer to Noelle Foley’s boyfriend Frank The WWE Clown at ringside. Austin makes his exit as the celebration wraps up.

I know one thing, Shawn Michaels will now not be able to shake the retirement talk the way he looked last night & in ring gear. Great Moment for 3 of the greatest to ever do it in the WWE.

NO HOLDS BARRED STREET FIGHT
Brock Lesnar (w/ Paul Heyman) def. Dean Ambrose

Despite Ambrose's incredible efforts, Brock hits his 13th German Suplex, then an F-5 onto steel steps, for a brutally hard-fought victory.

Rating: 6.5 out of 10

Analysis– I said in the preview I didn’t like this match & sadly I was right. I wanted to see Ambrose get more in on Lensar, he didn’t. It made him look from a lunatic to being foolish to fight Lensar. It didn’t really do nothing for or Lensar in a match he was suppose to win & really didn’t look like Ambrose earned his respect. We see what they do with Ambrose now & Lensar should be off TV until close to Smmerslam Time. Very disappointing.

WWE DIVAS(now Women’s) CHAMPIONSHIP TRIPLE THREAT MATCH
Charlotte (c) (w/ Ric Flair) def. Sasha Banks & Becky Lynch

Rating: 8 out of 10

Analysis– Watching this masterpiece was like watch apart of history being made as all 3 women came out & then after a couple of botches, this match become a classic & maybe one could argue this was the best match of the card. WWE Hall of Famer Snoop Dogg comes out with Raven Felix, who sings Sasha’s theme, WWE Divas Champion Charlotte in a robe that’s made out of pieces her dad wore at WrestleMania 32 in his retirement match. . I love how all 3 women took chances & impose their will on each other. I didn’t mind Charlotte retaining the title as it was transitioned from the Diva’s Title to the Women’s Title. Keep Sasha Banks chasing the Title as Ric Flair cost her a chance to win. I loved the match & one of the best Women’s Title Match at WrestleMania & of all time as the Women’s Division has been taken seriously & not just a dog and pony show.

HELL IN A CELL- The Undertaker def. Shane McMahon

Rating: 7.5 out of 10

Analysis– If anybody ever questions Shane McMahon work ethic & him as just the Owner’s son, they are crazy. From him using triangle choke on the Undertaker to the Coast 2 Coast & the unbelievable leaping off the Cell, crashing through just the table. I had to yell myself “Stop The Damn Match” as Shane show he was willing to go thru Hell & high water to defeat the Undertaker & run Raw. I was a little surpise that Vince McMahon did not interfere at all. Hopefully Shane will still be on TV & their is still a way to have him run Raw at least. i glad both Shane & the Undertaker was fine. Boy did they give the record setting crowd in AT&T Stadium something to talk about.

ANDRE THE GIANT MEMORIAL BATTLE ROYAL

Baron Corbin wins

Rating: 7 out of 10

Analysis– We had 4 open slots for the Andre the Giant Battle Royal & the WWE made the most out of them to draw interest. Diamond Dallas Page, Tatanka, Baron Corbin & soon to be Basketball Hall of Famer Shaquille O’Neal. Shaq & Big Show is a natural WrestleMania moment/Match made to happen there. It showed anything could happen in the Battle Royal & having NXT Baron Corbin tossing over Kane which could set up a program. Didn’t like that Corbin cried as he plays a heel on NXT. Hopefully Corbin gets a push on the main roster.

The Rock, John Cena & Wyatt Family segment including The Rock vs. Erick Rowan

Rating: 7 out of 10

Analysis– The Rock came out with the Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders setting him up as the Rock announces we’ve officially broken the WWE WrestleMania attendance record with 101,763 in attendance. His music hits as the cameras check out the big crowd and pyro goes off. Rock says its about to get hot now but the lights go out and here comes The Wyatt Family – Bray Wyatt, Braun Strowman and Erick Rowan. It was great to see the Wyatt Family interacting with the Rock

The Wyatt Family stand on the apron and Wyatt says he came here not as a friend, not as an enemy, but as a reminder of the truth. Wyatt says the truth is, he chose Rock because he represents success, he represents greatness, a lie. Wyatt enters the ring and says Rock represents a lie. Wyatt says this is not Rock’s moment, it’s not the fans moment. They boo. Wyatt says this is his moment, Mr. Rock. Wyatt says he’s going to eviscerate Rock and make his people watch every second of it. Rock looks like he’s thinking about it.

Rock knocks Wyatt for interrupting the fun and mocks the way he talks. Rock says Wyatt sounds like he’s been hitting the bong for 8 days straight. Strowman and Rowan come in now and they’re upset. Rock says clearly Rowan’s parents are related and Strowman looks like he’s been breast fed since he was an adult. Rock says he’s had his eye on Wyatt since he came into WWE because he’s got it all – the ability, the charisma, the look. Fans cheer. Rock goes on praising Wyatt for how he captivates people. Rock asks what does Wyatt do with all this? He comes out and knocks on a door he doesn’t want answered by threatening The Rock. Rock says Wyatt looks more like the Eater of Hot Pockets. Wyatt says he didn’t come to knock on some door, he came to kick one down. Wyatt says Rock has no idea who he’s fooling with. Rock takes his shirt off and the crowd pops. Rock says they’re not going to fight, they’re having as match. He calls for a referee and says it can be Wyatt or his two Duck Dynasty inbreed b—–s but someone is getting kicked all over Dallas. Rock takes off his shirt and he’s got his gear on – trunks, pads, boots. The crowd pops.

The Rock got Erick Rowan & give him the Rock Bottom. 1,2,3

After the bell, Lilian announces Rock the winner in 6 seconds. His music hits and Cole says Rock just set another record. The Wyatts surround the ring and get ready to attack Rock. John Cena’s music hits as the crowd erupts and starts singing their own version of his theme song. Cena runs to the ring and gets ready to fight.

They go at it and Strowman takes a Rock Bottom. Cena with the slam and Five Knuckle Shuffle, then Attitude Adjustment on Rowan. Wyatt attacks Cena from behind as Rock nails Strowman off the apron. Cena blocks Sister Abigail and Rock unloads on Wyatt. Rock hits a spinebuster and The People’s Elbow on Wyatt. Wyatt rolls to the floor as Rock grabs a mic. Rock welcomes Cena back and closes it with his “if ya smell….” line. Rock’s music hits and they hug before hitting the corners to pose.

Love the moment, just think it should have been before the Battle Royal to pace what would be next because it was a little lengthy of a segment, but still good among the less.

WWE WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP
Roman Reigns def. Triple H (c)

Rating: 6.5 out of 10

Analysis– Very Slow paced match from after Triple H intro with Stephanie McMahon to Stephanie being speared by Roman Reigns. For a program that was very physical throughout the year, the match was very slow paced I think they did give away much during the buildup to the match. This match would have been better if it was No DQ match. Hopefully Reigns can get a reset tonight on Raw & have his next program. Triple H could have a returning Seth Rollins to deal with unless he gets a rematch with Reigns at Payback. For the Main Event, it was a letdown & sadly much wouldn’t have helped.

Overall Rating of WrestleMania 32– 7.5 out of 10

For almost 6 & 1/2 hours of WrestleMania & for the injuries of the Main Talent the WWE. WrestleMania was a big success as the Wrestlers in the ring worked their butts of & hopefully starting tonight we get a reset of things on the top of the card & keep momentum going.
